Sarah is 15 years and old lived in a small town of Western Tigray. She lived with her father, her stepmother and her brother. Her mother died a few years before the war started. Sarah led a peaceful life and had good relationship with her parents.

They danced, they sang, they cited poems, did a drama and participated in games...

Just an afternoon of fun activities for our almost 50 children in our safe house. Our staff and the ladies from our safehouse were invited.

She came with her sister, both grieving the recent loss of their dearly beloved mother. They had fled their home due to the war and were staying in a camp for displaced people. Conditions were hard, food not available but they had each other.
